We are very excited to be part of this story and look forward to future projects on which this data will be used. These images will be used, among other things, for future projects to detect and map changes in land use in high resolution. For us, the implementation of this project means an additional strengthening of cooperation with the largest companies and organizations in the field of satellite remote sensing, such as the European Space Agency, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (through cooperation with PASCO), Planet Labs, European Space Imaging and others. The results of this demanding and long-term project will form the basis for spatial planning in the Republic of Croatia.
The project includes the procurement of low, medium, high and very high-resolution imagery, and covers the period from 2017 to 2026. The result of this agreement will be the procurement of a multi-resolution multi-year set of satellite imagery that will benefit the citizens of the Republic of Croatia, as well as its environment and nature. We are extremely pleased to announce that we have signed a contract for the procurement of satellite images for the needs of the Physical Planning Information System with the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets.
